Appeals

We have represented our clients in Minnesota's Appellate Courts in a variety of cases.  A list of the cases in which we have represented clients appears on our Appellate Decisions page.  We accept referrals from attorneys who may not have the time or desire to pursue or defend appeals on behalf of their client.

Bankruptcy

We are a debt relief agency.  We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code.  We have represented many individuals and businesses with Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.

Business

We help people select and organize their business entity and provide counsel thereafter including through the sale or termination of the business.  We help clients form LLC's, S-Corps, C-Corps and partnerships, assist in registering or re-registering the business with the Secretary of State, maintain corporate records, and assist with the acquisition or sale of business holdings.  We have also assisted individuals and businesses with applications for trademarks.

Civil

When civil litigation is the only answer or you are sued or otherwise included in a lawsuit, our firm will represent you and protect your interests.  Our goal is to achieve an acceptable resolution of any claim without the need to resolve your case through trial; but, if necessary, we will aggressively represent you through trial and verdict.

Collection

We help individuals and businesses collect past due payments, judgments and/or worthless checks.  We also represent secured creditors who are seeking to gain possession of their collateral.

Criminal

Our firm defends our clients vigorously in criminal matters, ranging from simple misdemeanor cases to serious felony matters.  Whether a simple traffic ticket or a more serious criminal matter, we serve our client's needs with the same energy and level of professionalism.

Estate Planning and Elder Law

For years, we have been assisting individuals, couples, and families with their estate planning needs. Our services have ranged from the preparation of simple wills, and powers of attorney, to asset transfers, and living wills and to the creation of complicated wills and trusts.

Family Law

The attorneys at Peloquin and Minge, P.A., have long experience in this area of law which includes adoption, child support, visitation, custody, and dissolution (divorce).

Guardianships/Conservatorships

Our firm assists those seek to help others who need services and assistance that is available only through guardianship or conservatorship proceedings.  We have assisted both those who wish to establish a guardianship or conservatorship and the intended beneficiaries of such efforts.  Our services have also included the required accounting.

Personal Injury

The firm has helped clients injured by the negligence of others through the legal process that is sometimes necessary in order to receive the compensation necessary to keep a client's family in their home, pay medical bills, get therapy and treatment in order to physically recover, so that a client may move on with their life after an accident.

Probate

When a family member has nominated you as their personal representative or if a family member has passed away without a will and probate is necessary, we can provide the necessary legal services.

Real Estate

Whether it is the sale of the family farm or the purchase of a lake home or hunting land, we can help you.  The services we provide range from preparing purchase agreements and title opinions to closing the deal, clearing title, and beyond.

Social Security Disability

Our firm has for many years been assisting individuals who have applied for and have been denied Social Security disability benefits.
