Irene L. Weis Irene is a general practice paralegal in the Park Rapids office of Peloquin ● Beck, P.A., joining the firm in June of 2010. After graduating from Lake Park High School, she began working in Minneapolis in the areas of clerical payroll-benefits and insurance. In 1978, she and her husband, Tom, with their three children moved to Wadena, Minnesota to live and work in the small town environment. Irene and her family moved to Park Rapids in 1997. She graduated from Moorhead State University in 1990 with a B.S.- Legal Assistant Paralegal degree. Irene began working as a paralegal in a Park Rapids law office and in 1993, prepared for and attained the Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal (CLA/P) designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants/Paralegals( NALA). She is a member of the Park Rapids Rotary Club, Chapter FQ P.E.O., and is the current president of Nordskogen Lodge 1-626 Sons of Norway. Irene has many interests and is involved in a number of civic and community activities, along with participation in many varied hobbies and recreational activities, including riding her road bike. She is currently on the Hubbard County Coalition of Lakes (COLA) Board, the Bicycling Around Minnesota – BAM Board and the Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council.
