James H. Perkett Jim graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 2003 and he obtained his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2006. Between his second and third year of law school he worked as a legal intern for the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to joining Peloquin ● Beck, P.A. in 2011, Jim worked as a contract attorney for a company located in the Twin Cities that specializes in electronic discovery consulting services. Prior to that, he worked as an associate attorney in a law firm in Bemidji, MN. Jim practices law in a variety of areas including family law, civil litigation, real estate, and criminal litigation. Jim is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He is also a volunteer for the Minnesota Land Trust.
